Maybe the threads might be too course for the fairing bolts? controls?

I'll keep on looking, most of the controls are chrome though?

That bolt is used for the inner fairing, two on each side, one pair down low above the lower tree and the other pair below the speakers area.

Nope and nobody admits to dropping one.  Oh well, I hope nothing drops off.

fairing bolt, but at least your dealer replaced two of them.  Mine chose to only replace one black bolt with one silver bolt and then left the black one for me to find while I was cleaning the bike.  this is the same kid who a couple of weeks later proceeded to do the 1K service and put formula+ in the primary and transmission instead of the Syn3.  quality dealer service at it's finest... :soapbox:

Any of you who've been follwoing the saga of the electrics on Big Bertha will know I've just got her back.

No electrical problems so far.

However, I washed the bike today for the first time since she came back, thought I'd check the rear seat bolt and sure enough it wasn't tight and even worse it was cross threaded.  I had to get out my tap set to re tap the thread - I hope it will still stay tight. Every time my dealer takes the seat off they don't put it back on properly.

Also noticed that the dealer isn't as careful with my panniers as I am as now the bottoms are scratched as well as a light scratch on the sidepanel.

But the main thing is after washing the bike and refitting the seat I noticed a T27 black Torx bolt about 1/2" UH and 1/4" UNC, was not there before - obviously washing the bike has loosened it or it was under the seat somewhere.  Any ideas where it's from??

Thanks in advance.

Jon

I do not trust my dealer, so I deliver my bike, when in need for service, without the panniers,- I have seen too much sloppy behaviour from the service department!
