Gas gauge stopped working
« on: July 06, 2009, 05:58:49 PM »

Went for a nice ride, parked had some lunch, started bike and on way home looked down. Saw fuel light on and gauge pinned on full.  Had just fueled up before ride and was around half to three quarters when I parked it. Haven't checked anything yet, too aggravated. Under warranty, but I don't feel like making a week long project for that. Any suggestions on what to look for or where to start? Doubt its linked to a fuse or anything either. :nixweiss:

don't even bother looking.

H-D fuel-gauges are notorious for their unreliability.

Just keep in mind to find a gas station every 150 miles and your on the safe side  ;)

My best tip would be wiring broken. As your bike is new, let it be the dealers problem.
