Hello I am new to this forumn and I was hoping someone had a 01 SERG that they adapted or was able to interface the cassette stereo to except the digital imput such as mp3.  Thanks for any direction

You don't want to use the aux input on the front of the....     Oh, crap, an 01; you've got the CD player so your aux input is already tied up.

You're only other option with the stock radio would be to get a cassette tape adaptor.  There are gadgets that slide in as a cassette tape but have a pigtail with a stereo audio plug on the end.  Use that to plug in to the output on your audio player.  Best Buy will have them.

Thanks for the reply I was aware of this.  Apple makes one of these I heard also.  I have seen or heard of some interface work that is out there and you get a better quality sound.  Looking for some direction on installing or tapping into the CD aux if this is out there

For a couple hundred dollars you can get an aftermarket (Sony, Alpine) marine radio with cd, front aux. input, xm, and a rear IPod data cable that will charge the IPod also. A few hundred more for an installation kit. I put the Sony in the SG and may do the same in the SEUC.
