Paint problems on the Blue 2009's?
« on: July 07, 2009, 02:23:06 PM »

I finally got my bike out on a real sunny day and I was very displeased with the dark blue.. >:(

No matter what angle you look at it in the direct sun, the front fender and mid-frame cover were purple, not deep blue like the rest.  In the shade, we all know, it looks virtually black, but in the sun is should have a very deep metallic blue.

Anyone else?

Here's one for you....

I didn't see the flake in the paint until some one showed it to me when I got the bike.
That's how much I cared about that!

The bike is great the way it is, the colors work just fine.

To avoid all of these problems you should have bought the orange and silver one. When I have mine in the sun its orange and silver and when its in the garage its still orange and silver. It has flake in it to which looks great and its faster than the blue and the red versions. So not so many colours for my money I guess but at least I just have the two that remain consistant.
Advise respray to orange and silver :P ;D ;D :pepper:
