Help! Am I Cheating On My Banana?
« on: November 21, 2005, 10:33:10 AM »

OK folks, I need your input. I dearly love my 05 Banana but a sweet 03 Deuce Screamin Eagle keeps catching my eye. I am afraid if I get a golden deuce, I will feel guilty cruising around town while my  [smiley=banana.gif] sits at home. That happened with my wife but I quickly got over that feeling. Those of you that have both and it works, let me know. Also, those that having two loves didn't work, let me hear about it. My brain's left side and right side are in a big fight and it is giving me a headache. [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

I have an '03 SED and an '04 SEEG...it is not cheating, it is a marriage made in heaven...the Deuce is mine, the SEEG is ours!

You come into this world with nothing, and you leave with nothing. While here, you should have some things that are really cool. It's time to ride !! So little time, so many toys.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] Also looking at a matching '03 SE Deuce at this end!

Definitely NOT cheating...   It's a matter of keeping the right company for the right ride....   Everybody NEEDS a hotrod to fuel your inner child, but ya gotta have the comforts for the longer rides as real life growed-up...   'nuff said?

MJZ,

Who am I to give advise, however here it comes...

At one point, I owned other 6 motorsickles and I can assure you I could have better spent that money.  However I can state, I do not regret that position.

At this point, with a modest income, I own three motorsickles with a bid on a fourth one.  Each one has a different personality.

Let's face it...It's a matter of faith, family, friends, money and other priorities.

I wish you all the best in your decision

The problem is in the perspective.  It's not cheating.  It's a threesome.

Let's see, there's this guy and two motorcycles, and....

Look, something that bizarre really would have to be seen to be believed. [smiley=nervous.gif]

Jock -

Yea, it's a threesome, but 2 of the 3 are motorcycles, so don't get too carried away...but wait a minute, they are Screamin' Eagles.....Hmmm....I guess it all depends on why your eagles are screaming (or screamin', if you prefer)--are they screaming with pleasure, or are they screaming at you for attention?  No good if it's the latter.  Sometimes I sense that the bikes in my garage are looking sternly at me, wondering why their saddles aren't between my legs more often.  And I reply "Soon, my dear....soon."

Excuse me, Herr Global Moderator --

It was my experience that wrote that for me.  I mean, I have plenty of experience with angry birds screaming at me for more attention--I still have the talon marks on my back.....  Now, if you want to calm them down in a hurry, take them for a ride on an Aprilia Tuono.  The rear perch has a pronounced hump in the center....with the vibes the bike puts out, it's a relaxin' deal....a horribly uncomfortable place, yet it puts a dreamy smile on their faces every time.....but wait a minute--this is a Harley site, isn't it....??  So how do you guys get your birds to calm down when they get their feathers out of shape?
