Greg:
I love it.  Although I admit to a positive prejudice toward Corbin from past experience, I can honestly say this seat is worlds above the stock seat for comfort.  Frankly, the stock seat with its gap at the console and overly-flexible seat pan is not even in the same class as to appearance and fit.  The quality leather and the texture that I had Corbin put on the contact surfaces just look much more classy.

Well worth every cent in my opinion.

I will have a better chance to further evaluate the rideability over the next week or so, I am leaving for Sturgis tomorrow.

 :)

What do you think as far ass passenger comfort compared to the stock seat?  I am seriously considering this seat.  Just want to make sure the wife would be happy with it too.  We all know how that goes!!!!

Thanks for the prompt reply, Smuuth!  Desant89 anticipated my follow up question but I think I can anticipate the answer.  I have ordered one like yours with the shark leather finish and a bit of yellow piping to match my SERG.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed but did see another Gambler on a SERG in plain leather that looks very nice.

My only suggestion for yours would be to blacken out the "Corbin" logo on the right side of the seat.  The new ones on the website are sewn in and can be requested in black.

I will have a BSR while I am at Sturgis so I will get her opinion about the passenger portion.  Based on appearance, I would think it will be at least as comfortable as the stock seat, and based on how comfortable the rider part is for me, I would wager it will be even better than stock.

Besides, as we used to say back in the day: "If she loves you, she will ride on the fender!"   :D

They always have had a presence in previous years.  Usually on Lazelle Street toward the west end of town.  They have offered a rally discount in past years as well.

Although if you want to get custom leather or piping as Greg and I did, you will still have to wait for them to make it and ship it to you.

Ordered my Corbin Dual Tourer at Sturgis last year at their booth/trailer. Believe there was a 10 or 15% Rally discount for ordering then. It was custom tan leather with flame stitching and ostrich sides so I had to wait 5 weeks for delivery but it turned out great and it's a huge improvement for the BSR over the suppository pillion on the stock seat (although the stock seat still looks much better on the WG2 - the Corbin makes the bike look too ass heavy). I'll be riding the Corbin out to Sturgis Friday because it is more comfortable and it has a backrest and my buddy in Rapid wants to take his wife with when he rides it Sunday. It will be my first long trip on it (rode the stock seat down to Eureka Springs with the Airhawk cushion on til I got there, will do the same thing to Sturgis).

I did not see Corbin in Sturgis last week but since I was early, who knows, but all the big vendors where there.
For the record, I now have 16,500 miles on the Grey Ghost and the Corbin Solo is the bomb,

I looked all over for their booth but no sign of them. Did anyone else see them?

Didn't see them in Sturgis or at Rapid HD either and we were looking for them.

I was looking for Corbin, C&C Seats, and Bagger Nation....   Didn't find any of them.  Actually pretty disappointed about it.   Called Bagger Nation and was told they weren't attending as vendors only spectators, didn't call anyone else.

Is there a rider back rest for the gambler?

Any way to add a back rest, either from corbin or anyone else?

Smuuth, thanks for the heads up.  After looking at the various brands & threads reviewing them, I went with the Corbin Gambler.  Corbin seems to be the only brand that covers the seat mount and is thus longer and thus has a locking mechanism included.  Got the yellow piping to dress it up a little and match the bike.

It looks great, Greg!

My BSR at Sturgis said she liked the feel of the seat so that was another plus.  (She was not fond of the pegs for her feet, but I think the rear footboards spoil the clean look of the SERG so she will have to live with the pegs.)  She was on the back for about 800 miles of riding in and around Sturgis and the surrounding area, so I am very pleased with the seat.
