K&N Oil Filter number
« on: July 11, 2009, 09:20:46 AM »

Can someone give me the K&N Oil filter number for a 2006 Scraming Eagle Fatboy (FLSTFSE2). Sites show they do not have one. I know that is not the case.

Thanks,

Think it's a 171 or 171c if you want chrome.

For some odd reason the K&N part locator leaves out some of the SE bikes, even though it includes others with the same engine.  It's not because there is something different about your engine, it's because someone at K&N missed including all the model designations in their data.  The KN-171 is the correct filter for all Twin Cams, 1999 to present, 88-95-96-103-110 cubic inches.  The B suffix is black, the C suffix is chrome.
