Custom Gator Solo Seat

Just had this solo seat made for the SERG, hand stitched gator. The tail velcros on and is removable....

I like this a lot.  Looks great and definitely will turn some heads.  How does it feel, i.e. vs. Corbin or some of the other custom seats?  Also, where did you get it, would love to check out their web site?

  we used a gel pad for some additional comfort.......A local custom seat builder here in Houston does some fantastic work, call Stoney at  281-451-6566  www.Thunderheaddesign.net

It looks really great! I like how you have the alligator on the top and sides rather than just the top of the seat.

It looks very good and individual , but it seems to be a little short at the front nose which is exactly ending with the dash.
No gap ? when sitting on the seat ?

yes it's a very personalized seat indeed ...the seat fits flush with the dash, a plastic insert attached to the seat that fits up under the dash to hold it place. Even when sitting on the seat it doesn't pull away. The  seat pan was custom made on the SERG a couple of weeks ago, held in place by a rear suction cup and mounded over the back rest support bolts to secure it from pulling back.....

 I agree, we thought it would look better completely covered rather than an insert. The guy that made it actually used the gator horns up front and the feet in the seat cushion area, of course the tail spurs on the rear. This is the second seat he custom made for the SERG, the other is for long distance riding and has a lizard insert..

Sooo....Ummmmm, where di the black gator come from????  Was it endangered and you got the last black gator in existance?   Ahhmmmmm, I'm calling PETA!  Unless of course you send it to me now!!!! I think it would look much better on the Silver.    :huepfenlol2:
