Hey Ya'll

Hey guys,

New to the Rooms but not new to riding, just traded the old Hog in for a new 09 SERG, and love the way it handles.  Hate to say this but reminds me of the old fixed faring Honda I had years ago before I saw the light of a Harley.  The SERG is a great bike but boy do the pipes and sound suck.  Read the thread about pulling the CC out and changing the baffles to fullsac.  Sounds like the way to go.  Keep posting and thanks for having this site.

Welcome to the site!  I too am a convert from Honda.  Have neve ridden a better bike than my SERG.  Of course, Orange and Black is the fastest of the colors but all 3 colors are great bikes.  I haven't removed the CC yet, but have been told if you swap the headers for a set from a 96 inch engine that solves the problem b/c they don't have CC in them.  Good luck with the pipe changes!
