I recently found that MOCO makes an oil temp gauge with a face that matches the SE guages. I swapped in the oil temp guage in place of the ambient air temp guage. (Who cares exactly how hot it is when you already know you're hot?) The red backlighting isn't exactly as bright as the other guages at night, but I really like have the oil temp info. Once you figure out what is "normal" for your bike, just a quick glance occassionally is all it takes to check your temp out.

I had the same thing done but the lighting is way off..the numbers light up on the rest of the dash but the new oil temp barely lights up at all...and the numbers are not visible at night. just a dim red glow around the edge. im dissapointed again

75320-05A. It also needs an adapter kit for the oil cooler. The guage is backlit differently than the SE guages even though they look the same. Thats the only issue.
