From the info provided, I am of the opinion there are some "issues" with your bike, I've got 10K on mine and the front looks new and the rear has 7/32 left,  :nixweiss:

I'm running Metzlers on the front and rear of my SERG. The rear is a 200.

Handling and performance seem great to me. However, at 85/95 mph I get a minor wobble.  It was my understanding that my steering bearings may be in need of adjustment. I'll be getting that looked at later this week.

STEERING HEAD BEARINGS ARE PERFECT. I AM THINKING THAT FOR SOME REASON WHEN U RUN A METZLER THEY MAKE THE BIKE WOBBLE.
THIS IS NO JOKE. MINE WAS BETWEEN 85 AND 95 JUST LIKE YOURS. TOTALLY UNRIDABLE AND SCARY.

I PUT THE STOCK USED TIRES BACK ON YESTERDAY AND IT RIDES PERFECT. NO WOBBLE.

THERE HAS GOT TO BE SOMETHING GOING ON WITH THE BIKE WHEN U RUN METZLERS FOR SOME REASON.

at this point I would guess either the tire contract profile or the design of the tread pattern, honestly that is why I stay with the tire that was tested on the bike by MOCO, the OEMs,  good luck.

the metxler tread pattern is one of the best. i run metzler 880s on all my bike because they make the bike handle so good.
in this case harley has a problem with the stock dunlop thats why i switched. what a bad move.
i still dont know what to do.

what if you are on the road and need a new tire and they dont have the harley stock tire you would be screwed

once again to let everyone know.the head bearings are fine. once i put the stock tire back on the wobble went away.
cost me alot of money for this mistake

Maybe the new tire is a bad one --separated or something. Have them exchange it for another. I have seen new tires that were chit (bad batch or a manufacturing issue)
You mentioned that you changed the tires (Or I misunderstood a previous post)--did you get them balanced.

i didnt change them myself. i work at a harley dealer and had it done there. yes be balanced them 2 times.
there is another guy in this posting that had the same problem. its something with the way the bike reacts to diff tires.

i tell you its amazing the diff in the tires. i mean at 85 its unridable.

its only a matter of time when a ton of people start finding this out when there tires go bad of they get a flat and the dealer doeasnt have the dunlop in stock and the a diff tire brand goes on the bike.

i am sure we will see so many postings

I had a new set of shoes delivered yesterday, D407 rear and D408F front. mounted and balanced them. then I ordered another set just to have.

Did I shave my head for this?
