The eagle has landed
« on: March 17, 2004, 05:18:54 PM »

Just got the new SEEG home after closing the deal and taking the long (200mi) way back. Wow! what a great bike!!!

After spending lots of hours on my BigDog and now riding this, there just isn't any comparison. The SEEG is not only outstanding to look at, but it rides like a dream. With the hydraulic clutch, the well mannered brakes, low center of gravity, air ride, and of course, the smooth as silk stroker, there just isn't any competition...

To the person that posted all of the pictures of his SEEG with the King Pak, Comfort Stitch seat/backrest and tourpak Spoiler, thank you! I was considering it before picking up the bike but after seeing your pictures last nite, that cinched it and I ordered the same setup. Unfortunately, an 8 week clock now has to tick away to get the stuff and I am the immediate gratification kind of person, so waiting will be tough so I guess I will have to fill the time riding...

Anyone near Austin TX who wants to put some miles on their bike, let me know. I want to get this thing through break in quickly!

67. congratulations on your bike! [smiley=beerchug.gif] [smiley=drink.gif] [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] [smiley=cool2.gif]  If you think you're happy now, just wait until you roll some more miles on.  The satisfaction factor goes up exponentially with the odometer reading on this incredible machine!

Not to bum you out, but if you get your tour-pak, etc. in 8 weeks, I think it will be some sort of record.  Mine took about 14.  Still, you got the best part to start having fun with right now - the bike! [smiley=laugh.gif]

Congratulations on your new ride.

Likewise, my tour pak took about ten weeks and that was considered fast.

Hey 67, Nice going. I'll be up in your area during the ROT rally. I'm sure you'll haver her broken in by then. Let you know as June gets closer see how many Northerners we can get down here. Enjoy riding her in that great hill country you have out there.

Thanks for all the replies!!!

Wow, 10 to 14 weeks for the parts. Well, like I said, I guess I just have to fill the time ridin'  [smiley=laugh.gif]

For any of you that plan on making it in for ROT in June, email me [slbelt@starband.net]and we can put a ride together. Have some friends coming in from northeast texas we'll likely do some hill country riding and would be glad to host anyone who has an interest. Marble Falls to the bluebonnet cafe, Llano to world famous coopers BBQ, lot's of great rides and lots of great places to eat down here... [smiley=beerchug.gif]

I am going to see it & pay for it Saturday 9 am. I feel like camping out for opening time.

But am I going to collect it yet? You bet I'm not.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    .

V&H Pro Pipe & Feuling Super Pump arrived from Wally's, tuesday.                                                                                                                                                                          .

Off with the heads and rockers tomorrow for shipping to BC Gerolamy.                                                                                                                                      .

UPS have hit me for duty today as my BC Gerolamy order arrives tommorow at heathrow.

Can't wait. Photos to follow.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               .
