Link to article and video

http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/victory/2010-victory-motorcycles-lineup-preview-88589.html

Thanks for the link. I hope the MoCo does not ignore what Victory is doing. Remember what we thought of "Japanese" cars in the 60 /70's?

Make the 103 motor the stock engine would be a good start.

Seems like victory made a cooler Street Glide than Harley did, I'm very disappointed at how bad the MoCo dropped the ball. 2010 could have been a stellar year for them, but they ignored the signs and continued on as if we're not in  a recession. They didn't offer us any cheaper models, just a more expensive Ultra. What a shame, what a shame.

One thing about the storage capacity rating in gallons, it is not important unless you want to carry gallons of stuff.  Those styled bags may hold more than HD, but practically I do not think its all that useable.  Like the leather bags on the SERK, realistically they do not hold much at all.

I wouldn't want to see HD make any of their lineup look like a Victory - or anything else for that matter.  I'm glad to see Victory is doing alright, and certainly HD can stand to have the heat turned up a little bit on performance, but I prefer HD.  And all the folks who prefer Victory, I support your choice 100% and encourage you to go get and enjoy as many as you like.  Just don't bother trying to convince me my choice is FU.
Thanks.

Agreed. Harley needs to be aware that the competition is not sitting still! I have not seen anything in the Victory line that draws my eye, but Harley already has me as a customer. They need to be aware of others looking for some innovation.

I'm not too concerned at this time. The wireless throttle system in 08. New frame in 09. I just would not take this year off however! These are still the best looking 2010 on the market IMHO!

It would just be nice if Harley would take a styling cue or two from victory. They have an electronically adjustable windshield, and a stretched tank look. Also they are providing more power for $1000 less, not to mention one can buy a victory all day long for under list. It's time for Harley to step up their game, especially in this economy. That being said, I love my Street Glide, just wish they offered a little more bang for the buck.

What year victory? I had heard that they had VASTLY improved their reliability with the new freedom engine.

Agree.  Some of Victory's styling is not that bad-the MOCO needs to update.

A 2007 Victory...I don't know what the model is called...He has been stranded with out of town twice with numerous electrical issues, had the transmission replaced under warranty, had the starter replaced under warranty, has lost a wheel bearing and has serious peeling chrome - and several lesser issues. His first and last Victory...
