I'm so happy I have a 09 SERG
« on: July 25, 2009, 09:38:13 AM »

I just viewed the pics and offerings of the 2010 CVO's - they are great and I'm sure they will make a lot of people happy. I really like the Street Glide and the Ultra rear lights and such for the Touring line. But in my opinion, the 2009 CVO Ultra paint scheme and the 2009 SERG paint scheme are better thought out and unique looking. I'm also happy that the Moco didn't release a SERG4 - for what ever reason. Not that I think mine will be a collectors item or the value will go up but because it will be less of them on the road, which will add to their uniqueness.

Ride safe everyone............

I pretty much feel the same way. My 09 O/B SERG is just plain good looking! I haven't seen anything out there that even comes close IMO.

I bet the O/B SERG3 that has been on the floor for weeks at Savannah HD sells today.

I agree whole heartedly!  However, as much as I like the 09's paint over the 10's, I still think my Duracell is the best CVO ever produced.

I love my '08 and most likely will never part with it.

The only 10 CVO I would consider is the Street Glide, but then again my 05 SEEG is very similar (except better, IMHO) AND comes with a TP!

I do like the Spice Rum & Gold Leaf Graphics paint job on the Street Glide; the gold really stands out (must be the picture).  It also look like they just stripped off a couple things to make the "Road Glide Custom."  Very deceiving when they tell you the Road Glide as been discontinued.  :soapbox:

:pineapple:  Overall, the 2009 SERG's are by far the best looking bike and I would expect on of the fastest and most stable too.  :2vrolijk_21:

I love my '09 Silver SERG, wouldn't trade it for anything!    :bananarock:     8)     I do like the new Softail Convertible, that's pretty cool.   It would make a great bike for my wife to ride.    ;D

Is it just the photo, or did they smooth out the bag extension on the street glide?  I am in serious trouble since my wife has been wanting to trade in her 06 Deluxe for a Street Glide, she loves the Rum SESG..... :'(

CVO Street Glide looks great. I'm not surprised. I was predicting it...Big seller in Wisconsin. The extended bags are one piece now with more capacity. I don't think you could come close to building a bike like it for 31K. Should be a big seller. I have to say that after owning a new 07 Street glide and spending 10K on upgrades to make it special, then purchasing the 09 SERG... I appreciate the stability of the Road Glide fairing in cross winds and can't go back to a bat wing! :drink:
