According to the HD New Model Technical Information booklet, the helical cut 5th gear is NOT retrofitable. You have to buy the complete new gear set and replace the old set. I like not having the 5th gear whine on my SESG, but it's not bad enough on the SEUC to spend $1500 replacing the whole gear set.
