16" Klockwerks Windshield ?
« on: July 28, 2009, 01:33:39 PM »

Anyone tried the Klockwerks 16" windshield yet. I just got my Kuryakyn Airmaster Touring and it works great.

I'd be interested in your take on the KW as well. I bought an airmaster as well but it blocks more wind than I want blocked. It's a little too efficient.

I bought the kuryakyn windshield also, and I absolutely love it. It has great protection and I can hear my radio clearly at only about halfway up going 80 mph.

How tall are you guys? Do you see through or over the Kuryakyn?

A tad over 6' tall. Sight line is a couple of inches over the Kuryakyn.

I'm  5' 9" not problem with the Kuryakyn. Lots of protection and I can hear the stereo great at 1/2 volume.

Does it require a seal from the regular road glide? Does it flap in the wind?

I use the regular Road Glide seal not the CVO seal and it works fine, fit is good. The windshield is a little bouncy at idle due to its large size but no big deal,  it smooths out as soon as you start moving. I am vey happy with the fit and finish, the look is good too.

Ditto Greg
 :worthless:

Would like to see pixs of both KW and Airmaster.  Looking for a W/S for my long trips, something that will block wind good.

Yeah and they installed it while I waited, shipped the 12" home for me   the 16 is a little too high , it is just in my site line,  will probably sell it when I get home and put the 12back on.

How tall are you?

Does it do a good job blocking the buffeting around the  eyes and ears?

My Cee Bailey 14" is good up to 55 mph or so, then the buffeting at 70 wants to pull my helmet off, and it beats my ears bad.

I am 6'1".

I am looking for something better.  The KW 12" is too short, I have tried it.
