Welcome to the site.  I am an former Goldwing rider too (2002 Black).  My wife and I both loved that bike.  In 2008 when Honda announced that they were going to close the Maryville, Ohio motorcycle plant and move the production to Japan, I decided that no matter how much I liked the bike, I just could not ride it anymore.  I traded mine for a 2008 CVO Ultra.

I have enjoyed every bike I have ever had and have thought of each as the best bike for me at the time.  This is my first Harley and my wife and I are having fun getting into the whole Harley theme.  We have the jackets and boots and T shirts and such. 

Enjoy the ride.

Welcome from Louisville, KY. to the # 1 board in the land. I also started riding Honda's back in the day but when I got my first Fatboy as a 25th anniversary gift from my wife I soon found out that it's not just a new way of life or having a new family so big that Xmas dinner would have to be served in Texas but it's what I call the HD Culture. Oh, keep the Tux and just put the chaps right over them, now thats riding in style.  ;D
