There is a new version of SE Pro Super Tuner.  It includes a VCI data recording device that saves at the push of a button 15 minutes of data while riding.  The USB interface connects to your laptop and dump the data to the SERT softwar.  The S/W will automatically make recommendations on what to change.  Also the new S/W gets its own updates and new maps online. 

For only $459! 32109-08A  An option training DVD is also available.

Purchased my SEST last October.  I records data and downloads updates and new maps on-line. Haven't seen any updates for it lately. Guess I better check.

Yes, it came with the VCI (black box) that can record up to 15 minutes of data for later playback and analysis. I just checked again, but cannot find anything about the Smart Tune option.  You can play back recorded data, and use it to make changes but it doesn't provided recommend changes. I also verified that I have the latest version and updates.

The TTS Master Tune will write a new map based off recorded data using its V-Tune Software, but you must keep your laptop connected while riding to collect the data.  The SEST black box (VCI) recorder is nice since you can leave the laptop at home and download the data later, but again I can't find anything about it writing maps or recommending changes to your existing map like the TTS does.

Ditto, playback and analysis,did not recommend adjustments if I remember correctly, which means it's a 50 / 50 chance the Smart Tune Option. When and if I can steal a block of Dyno time I will see if I possibly overrode and or bypassed the Smart Tune Option. Of course, I trashed the literature that came with the SE Pro Tuner.

I hear the *-10 flavor allows the tuner to save calibrations to the VCI, allowing others to pull the cal from the VCI into the SEST software when desired. I also hear that the VCI will log recommended changes to the VE tables during engine operation.

The Smart tune option is only on the newest version, it's not there on anything else. If you want it you need to go buy a new software CD and update your VCI. It will not do what Vtune does as it limits what you can do. Vtune lets you make the choices which can be both good for some and bad for others.
