Propipe bp
« on: August 02, 2009, 10:18:43 PM »

Hi I'm new to the forum and would appreciate some input. Just bought propipe bp for crossbones with stage one. I'm liking the power but find the exhaust louder than anticipated. Any advice I think the baffle is built in and cannot be changed out to quiet baffle, thank's in advance great site by the way.....!!

I've noticed recently that V&H no longer lists accessory baffles.  Not sure if that means they really don't offer them anymore or not.  Give them a call, or send an email, and ask them.

Welcome, btw.

The BP is really only decent for  a stock bike- it won't move air for built motors.  It's be because what used to be the can is now just a shield and there is a straight tube with a very little expansion chamber.

I had one on my Stage IV 95" FXDWG3 , it was much better on power than the stock pipes , but WAY to loud for me. although I did love the sound .
Even with earplugs and a full face they gave me a headache after about an hour.

He's asking about the Propipe BP - sounds like you had a Propipe HS.
