I've got another option for you. Buy a compact, visor remote for your opener. Remove the visor clip. Use double sided tape to attach the remote to the underside of one of your glove boxes. Voila... automatic garage door opener installed on your bike for about $30.00. With a three button remote, I can open all three of my garage doors with a single remote (no additional parts to buy to operate other doors).

same thing i did, works every time. everyone has problems with the moco one.

Opener on my '04 SEEG works every time.Going to miss it.Got a key  fob opener somewhere if I can find it that I used on my Roadking.Good idea stickin it on the bike somewhere.Seems I was always digging in the windshield pouch for it.New SESG is missing some things from the SEEGs but the 2004 didn't come with a tour pac.

I kept the bike transmitter off my SEEG, bought a new H/L plug, made a pigtail and plugged it in on my SERG. Saved $129.95 for the kit and only cost $12.00 for a replacement H/L plug to make the pigtail. Blink the lights and the door opens.
