WHERE do cat's cut power? - that's the question...

As understand the consensus opinion, all 2010 CVOs have catalytic converters in the headpipes.
And, we're pretty much agreed that the cats cut some power.

If that's at 5,000 rpm, I don't care much. If it's at 2000 - 4000 rpm, I care a lot.
Anyone know?

cuts power from the time you start the bike !! generates lots of heat too !

Not only cuts the power from the time you hit the start button but generates a huge amount of heat on the right side of the bike. I sent mine to Steve at Fulsac and he cut out the converter and it made a world of difference.
