on the way to Torrey we rode through The Grand Staircase our destination being toward the horizon in this one

we took the road seen in the bottom of this one, riding up that canyon

this is after we got up through that canyon and back up on top, looking back in the direction we came from. You can see the route right up the middle of the picture

that night we stayed at the Best Western Capital Reef which is at the west entrance to Capitol Reef Nation Park. This was the view out of our room:

then we headed into Capitol Reef. Our actual ending destination for the day was Durango via Capital Reef/Glen Canyon/Monument Valley and the 4 Corners. Here are some Capitol Reef pictures

After leaving Capitol Reef we fueled up in Hanksville and head south for Monument Valley. We caught a small part of Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Our 1st stop was an overlook with a view down onto Lake Powell. You can see a river to the middle of this picture and there is a bridge there that you have to cross

Same spot, me on the right and my best friend of 35 years on the left. He rides on 04 SEEG Huckleberry. This picture is deceiving as the viewpoint is on a cliff about 7-800 feet above Lake Powell.
