Rear tire

What a people using for a rear tire on a 2009 SEUC. My stock 407 is shot after 11000 miles.

I am just at 11000, not shot yet???  A little flat spot as usual but definitely not shot.

How much 2 up?? I am about 1/3 2 up.

I plan on using the same myself, I figure if I get 13 out of it, it will be worth the increase in price....I think they are $210.00?

I also got 11k out of my 407 rear. My front was cupped so I replaced both. I went with the Mezler 880, have about 2.5k on them now. I can't say that I notice a any difference in handling but I am hoping not to have cupping issues. Oh yeah ride 2 up 99% of the time.

35 Square Inches of Tire on the Ground.
If you can't afford $ 240.00 for a tire, ya probably should have bought a Honda Shadow.

Just went to Metzler's Web page and they don't list a Metzler for the 09 ultra's.  Where did you purchase them?

I have 8,000 and will get about 12,000.  Front tire will be gone by then also.

I went with the radial ME 880 on my 08 SERK. I have close to 500 miles on em. IMO, I will be going back to the Dunlops next tire change. I do not have the same stick when I'm in corners I had with the D407 radials. Rode in the rain for 100 miles. I did not feel as confident on them as they drifted much more. The front tire does not like the black tar snakes at all. I'm riding a bit more slowly for now. Like I said, JMO.

i had Metzlers twice and wore 'em right out both times...  I'm back in Dunlops.  is there any better tire than the stock 140 for an 04?  I'd give it a try.
