Not scientific, Rode bike on freeway at 70 mph on cruise, let go of bars, slight vibration of handlebars. Put in Dyna Beads, same freeway at same speed, NO Vibration........

You will notice a difference......
not sure the letting go of the bars is something i'd want to promote, but sounds like the issue now is bad balance vs good balance and the weights staying on. Enter, human error

I have used dyna beads in bikes and ATVs with great results. Although it may say they will void the warrenty, consider the following;

If you go into a dealer with a cupped tire and want it replaced under warrenty, they will make a snap decision one way or the other. (This is before they know dyna beads are inside). Do you really think anyone would agree to replace a tire under warrenty and then change their mind when it is removed and the beads fall out? I don't think so. Warrenty if a decision made case by case. Maybe they will and maybe they won't. The mechanic won't care if beads fall out, he gets paid either way...

Warrenty coverage is probably more likely based on whether they see you as a good customer and/or just a complainer. Having been in the auto business most of my life it depends on a lot of factors. If a woman comes in screaming at the service writer becase her car was in 3 weeks ago for a brake job and now her water pump has failed; all she has to do is be a big enough pain and they will "warrenty" it just to shut her up and get rid of her. seen it hundreds of times...

Too much faith is put in the written document. For example you pay for insurance (medical, disability, etc.) You actually believe what the HR department tells you it will cover. The you have a serious accident or become disabled resulting in major expenses. they will drop you like a rock within the first two years and there is nothing you can do because it's in the fine print somewhere. I speak from expierence here. best part is you can't even sue them because they are probably protected by ERISA...

Now, I'm sure I'll get blasted by all the Insurance agents on here, but facts are facts. Everyone is in business to make a profit, and Dunlop or whomever is only going to help you out as long as it doesn't cost them too much. The paper contracts are not worth the paper they are written on.

very good points and I agree. it's a shame it couldn't all be easy.
When you bring a tire into a dealer or shop with a warrantee issue and they make it right, they are the ones warrantying (sp) it at that point. it's the Manufacterers warrantee that is voided in many incidents. but most never make it back to the manufacteror for claims.
like this deal with the front tires cupping on the d407f, dunlop is not warranteeing. the dealers and HD are eating it because they demanded that tire be mounted that way.
I for one do not rely on warrantee as mine gets voided just about as soon as I get it home. but others who don't have some mechanical abilities, depend on that warrantee and are rightfully afraid to take it near the edge.
I don't want to be the one who gets asked" why didnt you tell me"

I've been thinking about the same thing.  That "No-Mar" outfit is not far away up by St. Louis.  Getting one of their little tire machines would almost completely remove me from suckling the teat of a dealership or any other shop.  Which of their machines is that and how's it work?

haven't used it yet, but it sure is purty. a quality piece of machinery IMHO. :2vrolijk_21:
started out looking at the harbor freight, had to pass there. i chose the ultimate pro model  because of the base, seems it is more stable. this package also came with all the accessories you should need. they suggest you bolt it to the floor but i just welded it to two steel plates, portable to a point. there rim clamps seems to be just what we need in the two wheel world. i hope to try it out very soon. my first change will be on a 14 hundred dollar rim. :nervous:

wish me luck
