What flat Michigan roads? I was there in July for a week and I found no flat roads, not unless all the pot holes don't count. I did like riding there though, weather was great, picked up a nice knife at an outlet store, visited the outlaws for the first time and they were good to me. Went to Bay City, back to Detroit/Dearborn, and up to Fairhaven and back to Detroit/Dearborn before continuing on with the trip.

My riding buddy has a 09 SEUC with 10,000 miles.. both front and back are cupping very badly.
We were standing there talking about the tire cupping when I looked at our two bikes. (I have 09
SERG) Our tread patterns are reversed.. We went inside the dealer and figured it out. All the early
production 09's have tread pattern one way and later production have the tread pattern reversed.
His SEUC was built 11-08 and my SERG was built 4-09.. We looked at the bikes on the show room floor
and sure enough.. They are reversed on later production...  If you only have 6,000 miles I would go to
your dealer and ask for new tires.. I think there is a problem and they know about it...

only on the front tire does this happen, hence the 407F- 408F change. it's now the way Dunlop said they should be before HD insisted on Symetry

I have 5300 miles and my rear tire is cupping while the front looks fine. I ride two up mostly and keep a close eye on pressure. Running 40 psi rear and 36 psi front. The rear tire makes a lot of noise in the curves.

Learned along time ago,,,, should always set pressure at max. cold setting at all times, all year round, may sacrafice a little ride quality,,, tires will last full tread life  :2vrolijk_21:
