He only made it a little way back.  It started fouling plugs when run at lo speed, so he threw it in the back of some guy's truck and got home that way.  Seems kind of ridiculous to be able to get a motor, swap it out with modifications and make it work, yet fouling plugs stops you???

An old friend of mine went to school at Univ. of Wisc./Platteville - and lived in Spearfish.  He made the round trip home and back several times on a 1974 175 Honda Scrambler.   ???

He now lives in Southern Wisconsin and makes the trip to Sturgis each year on his Ultra Classic - which he calls his "Lazy Boy on Wheels" in comparison to the Scrambler!
