Tinted Clearviw Windshield
« on: August 19, 2009, 10:33:47 AM »

I want to put a tinted windshield on my 2010 SEUC. Reading this sight I see that Clearveiw seems to be the top choice. I like the stock height which is 8" and I am looking over it. I also am going to get the recurve style. My question is which is best, the tinted or dark gray. Also can you see through the dark gray at night. Any pics would be appreciated.
            Thank You

I have a 12 clearview on my 08 that is dark grey. I'm 6' 2" tall and I have a back rest that allows me to see over the top. At night it took me a little adjusting to the darkness of the shield but now it normal and I am used to it. The dark grey just looks better on Silver and Grey.

I have the smoke tint w/ recurve and love it. No problems @ night & it matches the lower wind deflectors on the fairing. JMO

I have the 6.5" recurve in the dark smoke ,  no problems seeing through it.  The 6.5" recurve blocks about the same as an 8" straight...

I have the smoke 12" recurve and like the look but would buy the clear if I was doing it over.  Just one night ride with some rain and you will wish it were clear.  Great windshield and you will like it...good luck.

I have the dark '' Sport '' and the dark GT Medium, very difficult to see through at night, but they have the look factor.
