IMHO,  I think the inside of the exhaust ports looks best when they are black.  :cucumber:  :carrot:

Well if it's for a show, dump some 110 cam 2 in the gas tank and blow it out a lil! The white finish will REALLY impress the judges then!!! ;D ;)

To me cleaning the inside of your exhaust is a lot like cleaning a leather jacket. Why would one want to do either????

I just got done explaining to a neighbor why I keep oven cleaner and Pledge in the garage.  Now you want me to follow that up with Draino?

I did paint the inside of the end of my mufflers with black hi-temp paint.  Before that, I was getting a little rust color in there after washing the bike.

je n'ai pas envie de nettoyer l'interieur de mes pots d'échappements,

quand je fais du frein moteur,je n'ai pas envie que mon moteur soit intoxiqué par les produits chimiques   ;D ;D

Drano or not my efforts paid off! Took 1st place for best of show! There may be better products to do this with, but it worked for me. Once you get the biggest part of the grime off, a simple wipe with Windex is all it takes to keep it that way. While most riders may scoff at this idea, there is a fair amount of chrome showing on this style of exhaust. If the chrome is visible, I try to keep it clean.

just squirt a bit of WD-40 in there, you dont even need to wipe it down. After all, it does have over 1000 uses.
