Not sure.  I don't know anything about a T Bag.  I've had tour packs since before they started making T-bags.

The stock passenger back rest is very short.....not sure I'd rely on it to hold much of anything.

You can click on this thread to see what Terrie and I are doing right now.  I've already ordered a King tour pack, but it's not arrived yet.

These are Kuryakn Gran Traveler (or is it Gran Tourer?).....   http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=40384.0

I saw those on Kuryakyn website. What I did not like was that they are secured to the rack with just velcro straps. I really want the tourpak, but it is a bit out of $$$ reach right now.

It comes with a package of various types of straps.  I use the straps with the hooks on them and the buckles.  Put the hooks on the D rings then just use the buckles to secure them or release them.

Just finished a 2,506 mile trip and it worked fine.   Had to come back so that Jim can do some more mods. :2vrolijk_21:

OH..it comes with regular hooks and pull type buckles? On the site they just showed plain velcro straps. I may just do that. I saw the pics of your trip--very cool. It was a good shakedown of the new bike. I'm still only at 700 miles--but then again, I didn't get to go on vacation for the last week :)

More mods...must be nice :huepfenjump3: I just did slip-ons for now. I am waiting for winter to have the cat removed and a TTS Mastertune. Then the solo seat and rack. Tourpak eventually.....

I really like what you did by removing the rear reflectors...are the fillers you refer to custom-made to replace the void after you removed the reflectors or can they be purchased (HD or aftermarket)??? Hand painting the grooves in a coordinating color was a great finishing touch.

The saddle bag filler pieces are aftermarket.  I don't remember who has them.....maybe Jim will jump in here and let you know.  They originally come with the inset being painted black, Jim painted mine the powder blue that ties in with the flame pin stripe on the bike.

Can we have you paint them like JC's or are they proprietary to him   ;)

I will take a (painted) pair if I remember to call you after I get home from work related travel!  I have the concord also...

They come black, The color I used is close to the color of the pinstriping. I don't want to misrepresent it as an exact match. Give me a call when you want them and Ill get them painted on the way......

JC...

After the long vacation ride, what do you think of the new seat and besides the stitching, were there any other mods to the unseen portion such as more padding?

This stock seat will look best on a shelf in the basement!
