I believe the 04 SEEG paint is obsolete for about two years now.  I just looked on the web site and it's no longer on there. :nixweiss:

The P&A website isn't the end all and be all for painted parts.  Especially for low volume part numbers.  Parts counter should have a "Painted Parts Catalog" that lists everything for its years of coverage.  A more specific source would also be the bike's own parts manual.  Before dismissing it as obsolete it's worth checking the part number either at the local parts counter or someplace like Chicago Harley's parts ordering website.

I should have added that I changed the color code to "Candy Cobalt/Starlight Black" for KTP he would need (my color code was "BKM")

Besides don't you think the B/B would look good on my :pumpkin:? :huepfenlol2:

With Dood's supplied BKK color code here's a listing from Chicago Harley's website of everything that shows up for BKK.  Tour pak parts are included in their list.  Click on the pic and it'll get larger and easier to read.

According to HD's intranet, h-dnet.com, both colors are obsolete for tour paks and no U.S. Dealer has one in stock.

I checked about two years ago.  All the 04 SEEG parts in blue and black were obsolete and a dealer search showed that nothing was available.  Maybe twolane has info that I'm not privey to. :nixweiss:

Steppr, to copy and post a link to other web sites (here)......when you have the page open in the link that you want to provide, go up to the top of the page with your icon to the address bar and right click.  When the drop down window opens, go down to "copy" and lef click.  Then go back to the window that you have open, where you want to post the link and put your icon where you want to add the link...right click again.  When the drop down window opens go down to "paste" and lick on it.  You're done.  It's very simple after the first time.....try it. :2vrolijk_21:

If you're wanting to quote somebody else' post, instead of clicking on "reply" just click on "quote" then be sure to scroll down below the quote box before you start typing.  Otherwise, you end up typing inside their quote.  Try it, you can't hurt anything.

Not at all. Only thing I'd commented on earlier was that the P&A section of the Harley website does not list every painted part available.  Far from it actually.  Only way to know for sure if you can still get something is to check a parts department for current availability or HD-Net for NOS if not currently available.  You'd not mentioned you'd done that already.  So was just filling in the blanks for the gent to continue his potential search.
