Don't have a Road Glide but sounds like maybe Lowers may help you out.

That is certainly true in my case, I doubt that you will find any RG rider with lowers that has severe turbulance issues with a decent windscreen, I notice that both Larry and altugo have lowers and have no buffeting either

Lowers are indeed a big improvement about the tribulance. Its also extremely comfortable on long trips providing great wind protection. My feet no longer lifts up with lowers on at speeds over 75 mph. I can cruise comfortably at around 100 mph. :drink:

If it was one inch higher the edge would be in my line of sight, 2 would be no good. It's right at that sweet spot. I have a 32 I word, so from seat up, we are about the same. Another factor on my bike is that I have lowers on mine and the air flows around from lower to windshield

I guess I should try the GT stock height then.  I have about an inch more torso than you, and the medium is 2.5 taller thant the GT stock height.

Still debating lowers.  I'm just not a fan of them.

I e-mailed you the map you asked about.

I have noticed that too.  I am just not sure I want lowers.  I just do not much care for them.  If this shield does not solve the wind turbulance I may have to get the lowers.

Well I ordered the Clearview GT stock height light tint shield today.  They said it should ship in 3 to 4 weeks.  I sure hope this one makes the bike enjoyable on long rides over 55 mph

Tried the Wind Vest, still windy around the ears and eyes--the fix is the new 16 inch Klock Werks, much improved over the prior 12 inch Klock Werks-cost $299-pricey, but works.

I'm 6'4" and went with the Clear View Large w/recurve.  I look over the top about 2" - should have been about right, but I was getting A LOT of buffeting.  On a recommendation, I installed a set of soft lowers, and PRESTO - 98% of the buffeting is gone.  I can take them off & on in 2 minutes, easy to clean, can roll them up in a saddlebag, but best of all - no buffeting.

I run with a dark smoke CB 15" that I got cheap off a member who wasn't happy with it.  I'm just a hair under 6'1" with a 33" inseam.  I still use the stock seat and have full lowers.  I always wear a full face helmet with a lift up jaw.  Smoking  in a cross wind is a pain, but if it's a headwind there's no problem.

Overall, I've got to say, for me the CB is outstanding at any speed.  I really don't have any desire to find something "better".  That being said, the dark smoke is sometimes a pain at night.  Too bad, sombody can't come up with a transition windshield like my trifocals!

The picture below might help indicate why the stock POS is only COOL.  While the mirrors have some bugs, not a one made it to my helmet.

Well, not anything that has made me uncomfortable.  I rarely get above 135 km anymore.  I've had her up to 180 km both stock and with the CB, (CB only with full lowers, as I don't take them off).  I know she'll go faster, I just never had a need.   But, she was pretty fine and had a lot more potential.

They aren't a perfect fit out of the bag, but they work good. If you don't know what to look for, you would never know it.  I modified mine to fit right - wasn't a big job.  The price is certainly good considering the end result.

At 180km/h on highway with lighly curve , mine is getting out of control , swimming up in front and with the soft lowers mounted it is even worse , only with the stock deflector shield this is no problem , but every larger shield will cause this behaviour at my bike , now with the CV GT stock ( flat angle ) it is better , but not as good as with the stock deflector , but a way to live with the improved buffeting-performance .

The hd vinyl ones do fit at my SERG , but you have to warm them up ( talked about this at a special thread ) , put them in the baking-oven for lying on a towel for 5 minutes at about 194° F ( 90° C ), closed the towel ran to the bike and i was able to stretch them out so that they fit .
