When someone has the answer ask them also who is the prettiest girl for all tastes and the best tasting beer (or is that best tasting girl and prettiest beer?).

All kidding aside one single best is an answer begging more of a question.  Riding styles.  One up or two up most of time.  Lots of variables.  On any engine configuration.

OMT, good info above...  You might want to read CVO 110 Andrews 54 dyno test! 120 LBS Torque! 102 HP!.  The 54 seems to mate to the 110 motor very well.

I swithched to the S&S 510 gear drive for better performance and reliablility and am happy with it so far. Its only a mild cam and doesn't require head work or remapping. Doc

Any more info on this cam swap out??

Mike,

Here's what I did:  Re: SERG AND CVO: VERY GOOD TO ME! NEXT?.  Bolt in installation for a cam is not that easy.  I had the dealer install the cams and swap the head gasket and header pipe.  They installed all new gaskets, o rings, seals, etc.  Total install cost $1,100... not cheap.   My hp went up by 12 but my torque did not which makes no sense so one of my dyno runs, before or after is wrong.  The bike feels great though.  Much more power on command.  A little louder but not bad at all.  Hope this helps....

Thanks Greg, Wow that sounds like a lot of money for just a cam swap. Im trying to decide if I want to do that or change the gear.what do you think? How about the HID"S, still liking them? Which heavy breather did you put on? Got my king pack on now only need to add the speakers and get some wires to them. Its a never ending battle.

I don't really know other than folks have used 510's on 103 conversions. If you play with the heads there are better cams and bigger hp gains. I chose not to since getting rid of the hydraulic tensioners was my only goal. Check with S&S or Andrews.  Doc

I am not sure that the S&S 510 would be enough cam for it.

I run the S&S 570 gear drive in my 95" fatboy I am being choked on HP by the heads, but 100.2 torque is pretty nice.

That is what I am thinking.  Seems like a must have.
I already have the tts tuner, cat free head pipe, and 2.25 fullsac baffels and the heavy breather.  Need to check with my mechanic to see how much to do the cam sawp at his house. :coolblue:
