I wonder if the one in the downtown store is the same one that was there in early October?  At 40k it will probably still be there for Bike Week unless. . . . .  (fill in the blank)!

Actually the sales manager I talked to at the Ormond Beach store said they sold all 3 of the CVO Street Glides they got earlier at Biketoberfest for the same amount.

It's the foreigners for the most part that are buying these premium bikes. The exchange rate on the US dollar makes it very attractive to the Euro's and the Canadians I am told. We'll see........

I will tell you this the regular models are 5-10 deep at the Ormond Beach store and they do deal...to a degree...on these.

For people that are still looking for CVO's.. Try and find a dealer to give you a printout of dealers that have the bike you are looking for. This can be broken down by model, color, and state. If you can't find a dealer to do this, call Terry (owner) at Appleton H-D in Appleton, WI. He did not have the bike I wanted but gave me the list of dealers for the surrounding states that did have it.
I am like most, I will not pay over MSRP. My local dealer (that I worked at part time) would only sell me the bike at MSRP. To make a long story short.. I didn't buy the bike there, I no longer work there, and no... I didn't pay MSRP   :orange: :bananarock: :2vrolijk_21:

    I think your 110% right

I went out of town to buy both of my '09's for that reason...could I have paid it..yes.. did I?.. N.F.W. I see both side of the page but at the end of the day what will keep them around and in business are long term business relationships...not short term pops...

Well as you all know this bikes are expensive. I have tried to sell mine with no such luck yet. Don't get me wrong I love the bike but I also have a full dresser and it's hard to ride both, plus times getting a little harder on us now. I added everything on my bike when I picked it up thats the Low Jack, full ext service plan, GAP and the unemployment insurance. I have also added a new back rest for my wife and a little bit taller windshield. The bike has less then 1000 miles on it and I was only asking the payoff, still it does not sell, so for now I'll keep riding it. People also forget if they buy this bike they do not need to get all the extras that I have on it but the low Jack must remain and that was $1500.00 and well worth it on a bike like this one. Anyway safe riding and stay warm lol

If you want a Screamin Eagle street glide call Mancuso Harley Davidson in Houston Texas they have two on the floor.  Speak to the general manager Mike Adkinson and he will sell the bikes for only MSRP plus setup like normal.  Only ask to speak to him because the sales personel have been told to still attempt to get over MSRP.  Mancuso telephone number is 281-970-9700 they are located at 12710 Crossroads Park in Houston Texas.  Happy Hunting

Here's a good one....

When I bought my 2010 SEUC last November, I made several phone calls to the dealers that had the bike I wanted on the floor, trying to find the right price. Yesterday I received a call from House of Harley in Milwaukee wanting to know if I found a bike. They still had the one I wanted and they wanted to deal.

Boy are things not looking so good??? Maybe if they didn't jack the price up 2 grand over MSRP I would have considered them. I'm sure someone will walk in and pay their asking price but I know it's not going to be me!!!

Well when you lay off 950 people at the York Plant and sales are down considerably prices are going to react.
