I bought mine in 06, August.  Took delivery with slip ons and HD ecm flash.  At 500 miles, went with rinehart 2-1/Se air fliter and sert tune and redline fluids.  I Installed a ridestr8 swingarm stabilzer, corbin solo, hard bags and pop off fairing.  I enjoyed the bike for 2 years and around 12000 miles, no problems.  Sold in 08 for a 09 new ultra before the 906 recall.

I took delivery of my SERK in November '06.  After the break in, I had new cams, throttle body, pistons, SERT, heavy breather, and true duals installed.  Later added hard bags, progressive shocks and lots of chrome, still adding stuff.  Hang around the group long enough and you will find your wallet considerably thinner.

Bought mine in Sept. 06, Now has 16,500 miles on it, only problem i have had is broke throttle cable and is in shop now having the recall (enhancement) done to it. Just replaced the rear brakes, front ones are the ones that came on the bike, Replaced the tires at around 12,000 miles, remember run what the recommened tire pressure calls for and you will get alot more miles out of the tires. The worst thing about the bike is the air shocks.

Bought mine in Oct. '06 & it has 12,859-mi.  Experienced the infamous rear head gasket leak in July '08 at 8-k miles & had it fixed right away.  The following month, the letter came out for Product Program 0906 & I had this done at the same time as my 10-k inspection last September.  No engine issues since, however, I experienced a problem w/the gas cap on a trip two years ago where it came apart & a dealer had one in stock on the way.  I'm still having issues w/that gas cap as it will not pop out after you turn it to the left & you have to pry w/your nails to get it to pop up.  They changed it on the '08 model & I will have to look into that.  On that same trip back home, I had to stop at a dealer in OH to get the throttle cable lubed.  Was not aware of any recall (enhancement) for this.  The last issue was w/the chrome wheels that started pitting after a year so they were replaced at the 10-k also & I also replaced the rear tire at that time.  They had to replace the wheels twice as they found pitting on the set they replaced them with even before I picked it up.  The only things I've done to the bike are Rush 2" slip-ons as it was too quiet, a new seat as the stock one was not comfy enough for the wife & locks for the saddlebags.  I purchased the 7-yr. ESP w/o the tire/wheel option to protect against any further motor issues & really love this bike.  Now that the aftermarket has caught up to this 3-yr. machine, I'll be looking at performance enhancements next year such fuel management, cams & possibly a true dual exhaust system.  You'll be pleased w/how well the SERK3s hold their value.

I just bought a black 07 SERK two weeks ago (similar to yours).  I had the engine enhancement done earlier this week although it did not leak yet.  Anyway, the bike is great.  You will want to ditch the windshield and replace it by a taller one if you will do any touring at all.   Check clearviewshields.com and/or several posts about this in here.

Good luck.    :)

Thanks for your input, I'll look into a new windshield but I find that I don't like to look through it at all. I don't find the wind to bother me at all , I had a 2002 Heritage for 8yrs prior to purchasing this one and I always looked over my short windshield and didn't find it a problem, even on the thruway.
I'll see how it goes and make that judgement.. Thanks, glad you like yours

It was good.  It had fit and finish issues however, a little crooked on the the bike.  They gave me a free alteration that I gave to the new owner.  I always have liked corbin, have had them on all my bikes but with mike selling the company some of us have had service issues.

I bought mine pre-owned Aug 08 with 1800 miles.  Had recall done in Feb.  Have put on Corbin seat and Dragonfly fairing.  Just rode 3900 round trip to Sturgis and turned over 12,000 miles.  Only problem was I had to replace front tire in sturgis due to cupping.  They tried to blame me for not keeping pressure up which is BS.  Good luck with the bike.

Hi HDog

I have had my SERK4 since Aug 08. Best scooter I've had to date. She's my 6th HD.

Had the rear head gasket leak at less than 3700 miles. Replaced jugs with Axtell and went with a 117 ci.

ECM went out this summer. Bike still ran just had a lot of gremlins pop up.

+26000 miles on her, would buy another tomorrow. Great scooter!
