« on: August 28, 2009, 06:39:04 PM »

Signed up along time ago, but have never really been here. Just bought a 2009 S/E Ultra and am not really pleased with it. Put it up for sale. Still have my 2001 S/E/ Road glide and love it. Buyers remorse, I guess. How much is this going to cost me????

Probably a Lot.

orig list $30,995.

demand seems to remain unchanged after 2010 model unveiled (speculation was if RG gone that made the 2009 more valuable)

I could of had a new 2009 Orange for $27K - $27.5 K but could not pull the trigger.

most are trying to get to the 30k range but none are selling at that.

When the price gets to low most just decide to keep it.

I would bet it would be a difficult sell in the 29K range unless you found the right buyer (really wanted on but missed out)

The reality is probably near the dealer cost range of $26.3K

Not great news. I have been watching them for a while thinking that I would jump.

If I did not jump on the new one at $27k, nothing was going to make me jump.

who knows you might get lucky.

but you still lost all of the tax, tags and title money.

Hopefully the CA market is much better (usually is)

Good luck and hopefully I am wrong!

I think he wants to sell the '09 Ultra, not the 01'.

With the little changes applies to the '10 models, you may get lucky if you find buyer, who likes the color. Of course it depends also on the mileage & mods. Being a bit more specific may help.

Ride safely,
Louis
