Thanks for the insight doc.  I still have 4 children living at home, so probably will not be going long enough at one time to need the trailer.  It looks great though.

Call the previous owner, he said he gave his buddy the saddle bag liners and he claims he never got the passenger backrest.

Did the bike come with fitted liners or removable liner luggage?  I have a set of the removable liner luggage.  Did they make the luggage for the chop TP?   Also, found the passenger backrest pad at a dealer in NH and ordered it.  The part is obsolete now so, that was some luck.  Which upright do I need?  Also, I noticed twolane was using the newer version of the TP detachable rack.  Any modification to change to that?  Also found the headlight piece ( to make it look like an 09) on ebay.  What else.  Any suggestions on pipes?  Would love to retain the look of the fishtails, but I do need to open the motor up and get some better sound.

Thanks,

Sting

Sting,  The liners aren't a great loss as they were a lesser quality than the ones listed above. We used the old ones from a previous bike before getting the trailer. You might have to get another docking hardware item to use the newer detachable hardware (pre 09) p/n 53746-97B. You will only need that if you choose to get a king tour pack with its different docking hardware (newer but pre 09). The older docking hardware on your bike looks sturdier and I'm not sure why they changed it except to piss us off. After 09 non of the accessories we have hanging from our ceilings in the garage will fit. :'(  Here is a pic of the old docking hardware on the chopped TP with the newer (pre 09) docking hardware.  Doc

The kit has all this stuff but all you will need is the part that I have partially installed in the photo and your good to go with every pre 09 detachable accessory.  Doc
