Yes the clamping area is also 1 1/4". So you will need new risers and clamps or an adapter sold by Wild 1 to work with a 1" clamping area bar.

The riser parts Brad mentions aren't terribly expensive.  When I was helping Travis change bars on his Road King had an occasion to look at that sleeve Wild1 offers to make the narrower bars work in the wider clamps.  The entire thing didn't leave me with warm fuzzies.  Doing it on my own I'd change the riser parts.

One side note.  If you do change risers that's an excellent time to spend another few bucks and put in the poly handlebar bushings.

Thanks for your input. I'm actually looking at installing these on my bike so I can get more pullback. I'm short and I like to sit back and stretch my feet out so I don't want a reduced reach seat so my bars are going to have to be changed.

1.25" across the center eliminates the riser question.  Only question I personally would have for Flanders would be about the ends of the bars.  Since the set you're looking at is designed for a Yamaha I have no idea if the smaller OD section at each end of the bar would be the same length as it would on a Harley.

If the switch housing and grips occupy the same amount of space and are the same ID on both the Yamaha and the Harley you'd be good to go.  If not you're probably stuck.

Also, I forgot what year Road King.  If yours is new enough for the electronic throttle the Yamaha bars won't be fitted correctly for the throttle parts.
