Stayed a night in Burlington, VT, and got up and took the 8:00 ferry across Lake Champlain to Port Kent, New York.
Cost $6.50 for bike and rider.  Took about an hour.

After we got off the ferry at Port Kent, this is what we saw.  Can't find the name of this river right now.

Rode thru Lake Placid and saw the ski slopes at White Face Mountain.  Did not ride to the top but wished we had even though it was cloudy and we wouldn't have seen anything from the top.

Only reason this is here is that I paid $11.00 for two Haagan Daas ice creme bars.  I was so dumb founded when she said the price, I paid and didn't say anything.  I should have handed them back and walked off.  Our friend Bob thinking you dumb asse.

I like this shot of the falls just as it is going over.  Hard to believe Lake Erie and the other great lakes don't go dry with all that water going into Lake Ontario.

We get home and these hot air ballons go by our house.  A nice end to a great trip.

We took a boat load of pictures and only posted a few.  Hope a few fence setters may do the trip in the coming years.  The Welcome Centers in Canada are abundant and help you find lodging each night if need be.  The only problem is that not all motels are in their books.  We only had reservations in Niagara Falls and Bar Harbor.  We wouldn't have needed reservations for either one of those.  Only had 1 bad meal the whole trip-lucked out on restaurants.  Canadian roads are for the most part very good but have hard gravel for berms.  I knew the areas of canada would be beautiful, but I was equally impressed with Maine, New Hamshire, Vermont, and the Adirondacks of New York.  Never posted pictures of a trip before as JCZ has done many times but I hope I didn't do too badly.

Loved it all Bob.  Thanks so much for sharing the trip.  Made me nostalgic to find some of my own from the last trip through Acadia and points north.  We've got some taken from nearly identical spots.

Got a question.  How'd the ten year old?  What was a long day or a long stretch between stops for her.  Parker is asking more and more often about how long it'll be before she's "big enough for motorcycle trips."  So how is your girl doing?
