Zippers Football Air Cleaner and Backplate

I just received my new Zippers Air Cleaner and Backplate.   The Aircleaner indeed does fit behind a football cover and it all lines up well.  I should have it on the bike next week

This extra 5/8" in filter width is the answer to the Teardrop air cleaner cover "perception".

A lot of us are convinced that the Teardrop cover is more restrictive than the football cover, due to less filter being open. This resolves that issue completely...

Perhaps mine'll go back on now....
