Some of the best riding in the Midwest is all within 150 miles of Ft. Wood. On the other hand, it's a very dangerous area to ride and this summer has been particularly tragic.  I've personally lost two friends and a third had his leg amputated.  All three accidents were caused by cagers but there have also been several inexperienced riders involved in single vehicle accidents on our very curvy and hilly state highways.
