I passed on the CVOs. They didn't have the details I wanted and cost a lot of money right off the floor. Since I wanted it "my way", I just ordered my 09 SG with stageII 103 kit and all the parts I wanted on it. Moved the passenger pegs to the front rollbar, put floorboards on the rear, got a tourpak with rack, seperate rack and backrest for non-tour use, rear rollbar to protect saddlebags, TTS, Fullsac baffles, fairing wings, fork baffle, sundowner, Clearview shields, etc, etc....

I just didn't trust the 110 motor after hearing about all the issues with it. The 103 stageII is a proven combination and I am more than happy with performance. The CVOs are nice, but by the time I got it my way it would have cost another $10 grand... My 09 feels great except for that extra ten grand in my wallet is causing a back ache... LOL

Oil leaks, excessive heat, poor seat design, fairing striking the tank, "off center" logos, "backward" running tires............don't tell my wife I spent 30K on the thing but all in all I'm proud to have a FLHXSE.  Must be the exclusive nature of limited production, biggest factory motor HD has to offer, eye popping one of a kind paint, being able to strut the CVO logo and the esprit de corps associated with the label.  Worth every penny  ;D

Because I wanted a head start on customizing a new ride and I fell in love with the 105th Anniversary paint scheme.

Even though there are 1800 of them out there, you can still make them your own...

Nothing wrong with a cup holder.
For those that put lots of miles on their bike it's a convenience.

With 200 miles between stops with the 6 gallon tank a little drink as we cruise is always a good thing.
And with 22K miles on my 09 it's a great story to tell.
