I believe if you look in the back of the book you will see it (it's in the electronics section), I also believe the dealership "Flashes" it into your system. Kinda pricey if you ask me, if my bike didn't come with it I would not purchase it. JMO
For the money go with the handle bar option.
It requires a hardware unit which is mounted inside the fairing in the HK radio and a GPS antenna, also mounted inside the fairing ontop of the radio or on a small shelf installed just below the windshield screws. There's no external evidence of one installed other then the biker driving in circles looking lost while staring at his/her radio.

Sorry, that was too easy. The comments here a accurate as far as it goes. The unit is clearly inferior and overpriced when compared to current Garmin offerings. But it requires no external connections, completely integrates and is alway present on the bike as long as you keep the CDs in the tourpak.
The big minuses are:
Lack of map. It's text directions only.
Lack of route planning. You tell it where you want to go and it goes there. No way points or alternate routes, although you can tell it to detour around the next X number of miles.
You must keep the CD in to use the Food/Fuel locator or if you miss a turn and need to recalculate the route. If you follow it perfectly once the route is calculated you can pull it.
Personally, I use it becasue it came with it and my wife has a Zumo on her bike when we travel. If I had to buy one, I wouldn't even consider the HK unit.
