2009 SEUC brakes

What is the trick to get the brake pads off the rear?  Looks like the rotor will not clear the tire rim. What am I doing wrong?

Dig out the manual and see what the procedures are, best advice I can give you sitting behind this desk.

I have a nice loop that brings me back around route 3.....good run
