I'm not sure how true this is, but......

I figure if we pound the miles on these bikes, we can only get away with it for a couple years before we start losing (big) on the trade-in.

I pounded my 06 for almost 3 years and did pretty well. I think you have past the turning point of getting what you want out of it. I would say take the hit now or it's just gonna keep going downhill.

That is JMO, but pretty certain there is alot of truth in it.

I guess it pays to shop around for the best price...

I was told 13.5 for mine (04 SEEG) on a Burnt Amber... :nixweiss:

Not sure where I'm going just yet, we'll see, eh?

Jamey,
You looking at the Burnt Orange/Amber up at Richmond North?  I got a chance to look at it when I was down there there a week or so ago.  Sweet looking machine. :2vrolijk_21:

Yeah, that'd be the one, still choking  :zroflmao: over the price tag...

but it would be a nice addition to the stable...

IMO the way to come out best on resale / trade-in value is to do like a friend of mine has for several years.  He gets a new bike every couple years just before the factory warranty on his current one expires.  And he never does any upgrades to his bike.  I just could not do that.  There are way, way too many accessories that I enjoy to ever leave my bike bone stock.  And the upgrades that come with the CVOs make it easier to enjoy the experience.

You only live once Jamey. ;)  That's a sweet machine.  Now I understand why Candy was asking if the SESG rear facia would work on a '10 Ultra.  So now you know what your first accessory will be....  :D
