Auto decompression valves

Hi maybe someone help me out, I ran my bike with 88ported heads this past summer, and have replaced them with the stock 110 heads reworked.
But with the decompression valves plugged in, they do not activate when trigger by the run switch.
Would be great if someone could tell me what happened.
