Does anyone have a solution to the bad lighting of engine light, low fuel light, ect on the speedometer. During the night it's not a problem but in the  day time it just sucks.

The speedo and tach are "sealed", so unless you come up with a way to repair the chrome bezel after taking it apart- you're stuck with stock.

It's a little disappointing that harley could think that we can see these indicators on the speedo. ie when your in 6th gear can you see the "6" on your dash or do you have to shade it with your hand. My 08 UC was never a problem, but with my $30,000 plus bike it sucks. If there is nothing I can do with it, I will have to live with it, but I just like to have things done right. JMO

The easiest fix is to only ride at night!  You can see everything just fine!!

Once you fix the other 4 gauges, that is. >:(

I had my SERG for about 6 months before I knew I there was a 6th gear light.
