Scotchgard™ Paint Protection Film
« on: September 22, 2009, 11:19:30 PM »

Does 3M or an plastic manufactuer make clear sheilds to fit any of the Harleys?
It is called: Scotchgard™ Paint Protection Film
What I am talking about would be clear sheets of plastic that would fit over the fenders, over the front forks, and over the tank.
Or does some one cut these by hand or cad and put them on your Harley?
I have this on my sports car on the front end it and on the mirrors, it really helps to protect them from nicks.
Sure would like to have some on my new SESG.

This isn't in custom pre-cut pieces, but it's pretty amazing stuff. It was originally designed for the leading edge of helicopter blades. Click on the link, and scroll about half-way down. It's called "Helicopter Tape/Edge Guard"

Hope this helps, I've personally used it and it's awesome!

Had this installed at Sturgis this year and couldn't be happier.

We had our local guy do both the Ultra's.  The fairing, lowers, front of the front fender, front and rear sides of the tank, top and front of the bags.  It works pretty well.
