He had a real hard time breathing and went back on the ventilator Saturday morning. He has a great doctor who is determined to get him better. As of this morning he is still on the vent and they are trying physical therpy while on the vent to get him stronger. He's pretty hard core, having a vent tube down his throat with no sedative at all, that was his choice. It's going to be a long road to recovery, probably be in the hospital a few months. I came home and went back to work, so I will be making a couple of trips a week to St. Louis.  It's about 100 miles 1 way, so it's not too bad. Thank you all for the prayers and encouragement. I will keep you all informed.

After the longest battle of his life, he finally lost.  His organs began failing and he passed last night about 10:00.  He was comfortable and went very peaceful surrounded by all of those who loved him dearly.
