Cold Oil in 2007 110 Roak King - Measurement Help ?
« on: September 27, 2009, 08:02:45 PM »

Gents:

When I pull out the dipstick, engine totally cold (after overnigh sit, but in warm weather - 70's), the oil is at the half way mark between "Full" and "Add oil".  Right in the middle.

I know when hot oil expands so wanted to ask, totally cold ... at half way up the dipstick ... is the oil at a proper level ?

Or

Too high?  Too low ?

Thank you,

just fine, if you run it higher it may get some blowby (oil out the air cleaner) as long as you are not it is fine.
