I don't think I ever posted any photos from my 2004 SEEG vs. deer crash photos. From late 2004 - returning from Sturgis, just over the South Dakota/Minnesota border on I 90. Cruise control on 80mph....no helmet....a deer came out of the ditch to my right and ran directly into my front wheel. The impact knocked me into the median. As soon as I entered the median, my front wheel dropped into a hole, which sent me end over end. It happened in seconds. I never even disengaged the cruise. My friend behind me said I did 2 - 360's before I let go. I tumbled in the median for 100 ft. The bike did a couple end over ends and wound up on the highway - about 100 ft. beyond where I stopped. My friend behind me had to not only watch me, but also dodge all the pieces of my bike - and my luggage - disintegrating in front of him. I never even bumped my head - not once. I broke a wrist and some fingers, seperated a shoulder, cracked my sternum (the doctor told me I must have a titanium collar bone) and had bruised lungs. But walked away...
